I was thrilled to write ten Fountas and Pinell leveled readers for Heinemann Publishing (a division of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt).
I’m passionate about middle grade! I love reading and writing books filled with humor, weirdness, fantasy, adventure, and oddball characters.
My current middle grade project is: The Weird World of Winnie Ward, the story of a quirky girl who yearns to be ordinary. But when her mom and aunt vanish under mysterious circumstances, Winnie must embrace her inner weirdness and travel to some of the world’s strangest roadside attractions to save them.
